MODEL B-US: Exactly the same as model except marked “Property of US” on the frame. Approximately 14,000 manufactured from 1942-1943.

MODEL HB: Similar to the Model B, except it has an external hammer. Some made with and some made without safety. First made in 1940-1942. Discontinued in war years and manufactured again between 1949-1954. Approximately 25,000 were made.

MODEL GB: In 1949, High Standard began manufacturing pistols with interchangeable 4.5″ or 6.75″ barrels. Pushing a lever released the barrel for easy exchange. The GB was the first of these, and approximately 5,000 were made from 1949-1950.
