Introduced in the early 1920s, this model was not like the usual Sauer designs, but more similar to the Walther model 9. Top ejection and vertical serrations at the front and rear are the most visible distinctions. Replaced in 1928 with a newer model. WTM stands for Westen Tauschen Modell or waist coat model.
