Announced in 1966, this combines the short frame of the Detective Special with the ventilated rib, shrouded ejector rod, target hammer and sights of the Python. It had a 2-5in or 4in barrel, chambered 22 rimfire or .38 special ammunition and was surprisingly heavy.
